Broad Band Light(BBL)/IPL

Broad Band Light(BBL) or Intense Pulsed Light(IPL) is one of the oldest and most effective therapies available today for uneven skin. It works by delivering intense pulses of light to the skin to minimize sun damage and facial redness. With each BBL treatment, collagen is stimulated and can erase years of age and sun damage from your skin. This process will help restore your natural beauty, resulting in younger, brighter, more evenly toned skin.

As with any treatment, choosing experienced and well-trained providers is extremely important. Our experienced providers have performed countless BBL treatments with excellent results. Our state-of-the-art Sciton device is a highly effective device used to improve skin tone and stimulate collagen. Our providers don’t just follow one protocol for every client. They will carefully assess your skin and tailor the settings of the treatment to your specific skin type and desired results, ensuring that you receive the safest and most effective treatment possible. All treatments at VIDA are reviewed by our on-site medical director, Dr. Thompson.

Forever Young BBL

The Forever Young BBL (FYBBL) is an FDA-cleared, optical light and infrared energy treatment that rejuvenates and tightens the skin. It removes the signs of sun damage and aging by minimizing the appearance of dyschromia (brown and red pigment), stimulating the renewal of your collagen and tightening the skin. Studies have shown FYBBL treatments changes gene expression encouraging aged skin cells to act more like younger skin cells, resulting in increased elasticity and collagen production. How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the goals of each client. Clients looking for overall skin rejuvenation may require less treatments than those looking to treat deeper concerns.

Is there any downtime?

There is minimal downtime following a BBL, and effects are similar to a sunburn. You may notice redness and tingling for 24 hours after the treatment, as well as minor peeling for 3 to 5 days.

How long does the procedure take?

The length of the procedure depends on the area being treated, but you can typically expect to be at our office between 30 and 60 minutes.

When will I see results?

Most clients notice results approximately 1 week following their first treatment, however this can depend on the biological reaction of each client to the treatment.
